I haven't been able to get a hold of him for the past hour. Thought he might've been ignoring me in the beginning, 'cause... [An unintentional flash of a memory -- Zero, with those biting words] ...but it's starting to feel more like he's just not there. I tried searching for him too.
[X tries to ignore the pressure that concern generates; tries to ignore it after the fact when Axl tries communicating again.
He won't bring up the memory, not when it seems like Axl's just fumbling for words and not meaning to use it as explanation.]
There might be a communications limit. There were spaces where navigation couldn't reach us, remember? Transmissions cutting out or simply not coming through. It may simply be that.
[Zero wouldn't just intentionally tune someone out. He's fairly sure. But... There's the complication of Zero not knowing Axl, so...]
